Building skills for Timor-Leste's next chapter in growth

Timor-Leste is entering a new phase of regional engagement and opportunity. As the country looks ahead, developing a skilled, confident and internationally ready workforce will be increasingly important to achieving its ambitions.

AVM Timor-Leste works alongside local institutions, government, industry and communities to support this journey through education, vocational training and pathways to employment. Our focus is on areas that matter to Timor-Leste today and to its future including English language, healthcare and aged care, hospitality and tourism, aviation, automotive, construction, leadership and professional development.

Drawing on Australian and international education expertise while remaining firmly grounded in local needs, AVM TL connects learning with practical outcomes preparing people for opportunities within Timor-Leste and, where appropriate, internationally.

As Timor-Leste strengthens its regional connections and prepares its people for a changing world, AVM TL is committed to playing its part developing skills, creating pathways and working in alignment with the country’s priorities.

Backed by the government and supported by prestigious international organisations such as World Bank, AVM Timor Leste aims to deliver vocational education with practical, job-ready skills in trades like hospitality, aged care, mechanics, and ICT to empower the Timor Leste youth to access jobs both locally and abroad.

A key component of our operation in Timor Leste is the delivery of Australian Certified Qualifications, ensuring that young Timorese gain industry- relevant expertise that meets global standards. By working closely with experienced educators and industry professionals, we will create a self-sustaining training ecosystem that produces a highly skilled workforce.

Beyond education and employment, our vision extends to tourism and economic development.
