HEALTH & AGED CARE
AVM Group is building health and aged care capability across Australia and the Pacific, responding to growing workforce needs through practical, industry-focused training. In Timor-Leste, AVM TL is developing aged care skills as part of broader workforce development and labour mobility pathways. Our fully equipped campus in Bebonuk is ideally suited for training in healthcare with a focus on Individual Support. The development of a skilled, credentialled health workforce in Timor-Leste is a critical component of the country’s post-independence nation-building agenda.
In Fiji, APMT delivers the Certificate III in Community Health,with a focus on addressing HIV and AIDS at community level. Following the great success of the first batch, the second batch of the course is well under way. Together, these initiatives reflect AVM Group’s commitment to strengthening frontline care capability while supporting health priorities and workforce needs across the region. TRAVEL & TOURISM
Travel and tourism drives the economies of Pacific island nations more directly than almost any other industry. For Fiji, one of the most recognised tourism destinations in the Southern Hemisphere, a skilled, internationally credentialled tourism and aviation workforce is not merely desirable. It is economically essential.
APMT in Fiji holds a distinction that no other institution in the Pacific can claim: it is the first IATA Authorised Training Centre in Fiji and across the Pacific region.
