Australian Pacific Management & Training (APMT) has grown into a broad-based education and training organisation, working across areas closely connected to Fiji’s workforce, industry and community priorities.

Our work spans health and community services, hospitality and tourism, aviation, business and leadership, entrepreneurship, digital skills, workplace training and professional development. Through industry-specific programs, internationally recognised training and partnerships with government, businesses, institutions and community organisations, APMT connects education with practical workplace and career outcomes.

As an IATA Authorised Training Centre, APMT also provides internationally recognised aviation and travel industry training, extending the opportunities available to learners and industry professionals in Fiji and across the Pacific.

Our approach is shaped by what is relevant now and what will matter next. From developing specialist industry skills and strengthening workplace performance to creating new pathways into employment and professional advancement, APMT continues to expand the role education and training can play in supporting Fiji’s priorities.

Strengthening Community Health Response in Fiji

Through Australian Pacific Management & Training (APMT), our group is proud to support the delivery of the Certificate III in Community Health – Addressing HIV and AIDS in Fiji, a timely and important initiative aligned with national priorities.

Fiji, like many countries, is placing renewed focus on strengthening its response to HIV and AIDS. This requires an informed community workforce that can support awareness and early engagement at the grassroots level.

This program has been designed to build that capability — equipping participants with practical knowledge and the confidence to contribute meaningfully within their communities.

Our involvement in this initiative underscores our commitment to workforce development with purpose. By working alongside local stakeholders, we aim to support the Fijian government’s efforts in contributing to improved health outcomes over time.

Working closely with the authorities, APMT is involved in setting up of training facilities, introducing programs such as LARS (Life After Rugby & Sports) to support Fijian sports stars as well Study Pacific – a unique project to help Fiji become an international education destination.
