AVM Group is an Australian education and workforce organisation with a growing international presence across the Asia-Pacific and beyond.
Our work spans vocational education, workforce development, industry training and institutional capability, bringing together Australian education expertise with the knowledge, partnerships and infrastructure required to deliver effectively in local markets.
From nationally recognised qualifications in Australia to industry-focused training and workforce initiatives across Fiji and Timor-Leste, AVM Group develops practical education and skills solutions shaped by the needs of industries, institutions and communities.
As the Group expands into new markets, our focus remains consistent: building capability that creates opportunity for people, strengthens organisations and supports economic participation.
AVM Group works across countries and communities to strengthen the capabilities critical for sustainable development. Through partnerships with governments, institutions and industry, we connect skills, systems and people with economic opportunity locally, regionally and globally.
Strengthening education and training systems through curriculum development, trainer capability, quality frameworks, institutional partnerships and industry alignment building local capacity that can respond to changing workforce and economic priorities.
Bringing employers and industry into the skills ecosystem to ensure training responds to real workforce needs. AVM builds partnerships that connect education with workplace experience, employment pathways and emerging industry demand.
Building digital capability for a rapidly changing world – from foundational digital literacy and workplace technology to AI, automation and emerging skills that help individuals, organisations and economies participate in the digital future.
Our flagship projects demonstrate how AVM Group brings together governments, institutions and industry to build capability where it matters creating stronger communities, more capable workforces and new pathways to opportunity.
As Fiji confronts a serious and rising HIV outbreak, the need for informed, community-level action has become increasingly urgent.
Through APMT, AVM Group is contributing to this effort by delivering the Certificate III in Community Health, with a specific focus on addressing HIV and AIDS in Fiji. Two cohorts of Fijians have now been empowered with practical knowledge and skills to support health awareness and engagement within their communities.
The initiative extends beyond formal training, encouraging community outreach and taking important health messages into urban and rural communities across Fiji.
While HIV provides an immediate and compelling focus, the larger objective is to build sustainable community health capability developing people who can contribute meaningfully to healthier, better-informed and more resilient communities.
Life After Rugby & Sports (LARS) is an APMT-led initiative supported by the Fiji Rugby Union, creating education, employment and career pathways for Fiji’s sporting community.
Launched in Suva in June 2026 in the presence of Fiji’s Prime Minister, the Hon. Sitiveni Rabuka, LARS supports aspiring, current and former players in preparing for opportunities during and beyond their sporting careers.
For island economies such as Fiji and Timor-Leste, tourism is more than an industry. It connects people, creates employment, supports businesses and provides an important link to the wider world.
Through its IATA training capability, AVM Group is at work in the region. Internationally recognised aviation and travel training is being made more accessible to students and industry professionals, developing skills for airlines, airports, travel, tourism and related services.
